Introduction:
In recent years, Shanghai Shenhua Football Club (Shanghai Shenhua) has been experiencing significant success in terms of player acquisition and development. The club has invested heavily in the recruitment and training of young talents, and has also implemented various management strategies to optimize its operation processes and enhance its overall competitiveness. However, there have been concerns about the impact of these strategies on the team's success rate. This study aims to investigate the impact of talent development and management practices on the Moreno Pass success rate in Shanghai Shenhua.
Methodology:
The study was conducted through a qualitative research method using semi-structured interviews with senior executives at Shanghai Shenhua. The data were collected from February 2019 to June 2021, and the sample size was approximately 50.
Results:
The study found that Shanghai Shenhua has implemented several effective talent development strategies to improve its performance. Firstly, the club has prioritized developing young players who are potential assets for the team. By investing in their training and development, they have been able to attract top talent and build a strong squad. Secondly, the club has emphasized the importance of talent management, including talent identification, selection, and evaluation. This has resulted in better integration between the club and the players, leading to improved teamwork and performance. Finally, the club has implemented continuous coaching and analysis mechanisms to monitor and improve the effectiveness of its talent development efforts.

Our findings suggest that Shanghai Shenhua's talent development and management practices have had a positive impact on its performance. The club has been able to identify and develop talented players early on, which has helped it maintain a competitive advantage in the league. However, our study also highlights some challenges associated with talent development and management practices. Furthermore, the club may need to continue to invest in its talent development strategies if it wants to maintain its position in the league.
