Bayern Munich has announced the latest injury update for their star player Dayot Upamecano, who is currently struggling with a knee issue.

Upamecano, 24 years old and one of Bayern Munich's key players, suffered a knee injury during the Bundesliga match against Borussia Dortmund on August 11th. The incident resulted in a knee sprain and required him to undergo surgery.

Bayern Munich have stated that Upamecano will be out for six weeks due to his knee injury. This means he will miss the upcoming matches against Leverkusen, Schalke 04, and Wolfsburg. Upamecano was also expected to be unavailable for the UEFA Champions League games against Liverpool and Manchester City.

The club has expressed confidence in Upamecano's recovery and believe he will return to full fitness before the end of the season. However, fans and supporters will need to wait until he is fully recovered before they can see him play again.

In addition to Upamecano's injury, Bayern Munich have also announced the retirement of another key player, Thomas Müller. The 35-year-old midfielder has been playing for Bayern since 2011 and has made over 600 appearances for the club.

Müller announced his retirement in June after deciding not to renew his contract. He had been playing for Bayern Munich for nearly two decades and had become one of the most respected and successful midfielders in the world.

The retirement of both Upamecano and Müller marks significant milestones for Bayern Munich as they continue to compete at the highest level of European football. Both players were instrumental in the club's success over the past few seasons and will be missed by fans and teammates alike.
